Add it to commercial soft food, or to finely chopped fresh fruit and vegetables, sprouted seeds, or soaked or cooked pulses.

Leave one or two days supplement-free. Calcium is best not given every day. Feed this supplement 5 or 6 days a week.
How to mix
Before breeding
Add 50-75 g per kg of softfood. Increase that level over about 6 weeks.
During breeding
Add 100 g per kg of softfood.
By bird weight
Or add 3 g (1.2 level tsp) per kg of bird weight per day, mixed into that day’s food.
1 kg of birds equals 1 large macaw, 1 pair of African grey/Amazons, 5 pair cockatiels, 10 pairs canaries, or 30 pairs small finches.
